A small double mattress — sometimes called a 4ft or three-quarter bed — measures 120 × 190cm. It is an awkward size to shop for, and many ranges skip it altogether. Ours does not: both our quilted and quilted waterproof protectors are made in small double.

Each is diamond quilted in 200 thread count microfibre with a 360° stretch elastic skirt fitting mattresses up to 30cm deep, machine washable and safe to tumble dry on a low heat.

Will a double protector fit my small double bed?

No. A double protector is 135cm wide and will be 15cm too loose, which causes it to shift and wrinkle overnight.

Will it fit a deep mattress?

The skirt is 30cm deep and fits mattresses up to 30cm.

Can I tumble dry it?

Yes, on a low heat. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean.

Should I choose quilted or waterproof?

Quilted for everyday comfort and protection; waterproof if you also need a liquid barrier.
