This king size fitted sheet measures 150 x 200cm and is made with an extra deep 40cm skirt, fully elasticated the whole way round. It is manufactured in Britain, in our own Rochdale factory, in 200 thread count microfibre. A king bed is longer as well as wider than a double — 200cm rather than 190cm — which is the detail people most often get wrong when they buy a deep fitted sheet for king size beds.

King mattresses are among the deepest in the UK range, and they are frequently paired with a topper. Washing and care

Machine washable at 40°C and safe to tumble dry on a low heat. Wash similar colours together, particularly the darker shades — black, charcoal and navy blue — to keep the colour looking rich. Take the sheet out promptly once dry and smooth it flat. Avoid dragging or overstretching the corners when fitting and removing it, and store it clean, dry and folded in a cool, airy cupboard.

A UK king size fitted sheet is 150 x 200cm, or 5ft. Note it is 10cm longer than a double as well as 15cm wider, so a double sheet will not stretch to fit.

Yes. A king mattress with a topper usually reaches 30cm to 38cm, which sits inside the 40cm skirt with room to spare.

Is a king size fitted sheet the same as a super king?

No. A super king is 180 x 200cm, 30cm wider. The length is the same but the width is not, so the two are not interchangeable.
