This single fitted sheet measures 90 x 190cm and is cut with an extra deep 40cm skirt, fully elasticated the whole way round. It is made in Britain, in our own Rochdale factory, in 200 thread count microfibre. If you have ever fought a single bed fitted sheet that pings off a corner at two in the morning, the depth and the elastic are the reason this one does not.

Why 40cm, and what it fits

Most single beds are nowhere near 40cm deep — and that is the point. A deep single fitted sheet fits mattresses up to 40cm, so it covers a standard 20cm mattress, a thicker pocket-sprung one, and a mattress with a topper on it, without the corners riding up. If you have been searching for a 25cm or 30cm sheet and finding the fit tight once a topper is on, an extra deep single fitted sheet is the size that actually solves it.

The fit

The elastic runs 360° around the whole skirt, not just gathered at the corners. That is what keeps a fitted bed sheet gripped to the mattress rather than creeping up the sides overnight. Diamond quilted 200 thread count microfibre gives it enough body to hold its shape through repeated washing, and it stays smooth once it is on.

Every single fitted sheet comes in six colours. White is the timeless hotel choice, crisp and clean against any duvet cover. Light Grey is a soft modern neutral that flatters contemporary bedrooms. Charcoal is a deeper, warmer grey for a cosier, more grounded look. Black is sleek and confident for a high-contrast bedroom. Navy Blue is rich and elegant, adding depth and character. Beige is a calm natural tone that brings warmth and softness.

Washing and care

Machine washable at 40°C and safe to tumble dry on a low heat. Wash similar colours together, particularly the darker shades — black, charcoal and navy blue — to keep the colour looking rich. Take the sheet out promptly once dry and smooth it flat. Avoid dragging or overstretching the corners when fitting and removing it, and store it clean, dry and folded in a cool, airy cupboard.
