Q: Do I need a duvet cover with a coverless duvet?
A: No. The outer fabric is designed to be used directly on the bed — that's the whole point.
Q: How do I wash a coverless duvet?
A: Machine wash at 40°C, the same as our other duvets. Use a large-drum machine for King and Super King, don't bleach, and dry thoroughly before use. No ironing needed.
Q: Is it reversible?
A: Yes — the stripe design gives you two looks; simply flip it over.
Q: What tog is it?
A: 10.5 tog — the all-season weight suited to most UK bedrooms from spring to autumn, and all year in heated homes.
Q: Is it warm enough for winter?
A: In a heated bedroom, yes. For a cold or unheated room, you may prefer our 13.5 tog winter duvet.
Q: Can I still use a cover if I want to?
A: Yes — it works like a normal duvet, so you can add a cover any time.
Q: Is it good for children's rooms and guest rooms?
A: Very — no cover to fit and it washes easily, which makes it popular for kids, guests, students and holiday lets.
Q: Is hollowfibre suitable for allergy sufferers?
A: Hollowfibre is a synthetic fill with no feathers or down, making it a popular choice for people with feather allergies, and regular washing helps keep dust mites down.
Q: What sizes are available?
A: Single 135 × 200cm, Double 200 × 200cm, King 225 × 220cm and Super King 260 × 220cm.

A duvet cover for a double bed typically costs £20 to £35, and most people own two so one can be in the wash. A coverless duvet removes that cost entirely and removes a weekly job with it — which is the real reason guest houses, holiday lets and parents of small children buy them.

Because there is no cover to buy, most people put the saving into the layers that matter: an extra deep 40cm fitted sheet, a mattress protector underneath it, and a pair of hotel pillows with zipped pillow protectors. Orders over £50 ship free, so bundling saves on delivery.
