Premium materials, thoughtful craftsmanship and practical everyday care.
Our Quilted Pillow is the softest hollow fibre pillow we make. The quilted microfibre cover adds a thin cushioned layer over the fill, which is what gives it that sink-in feel rather than the springiness of a plain-cased pillow. Filled with 700g of 100% Pure Virgin Hollow Fiber, made at our own base in Rochdale, Greater Manchester.
74 x 48cm, the standard UK size. Packs of 1, 2, 4, 6 and 8.
Front sleepers, first and foremost. If you sleep on your stomach your body is already close to the mattress, and a thick pillow angles your neck upward all night — a soft, low pillow avoids that. It also suits anyone who simply prefers give over resistance, and lighter builds who find medium pillows feel firm.
If you sleep on your side, this is the wrong pillow for you — you need height, which our box edge pillows provide with 800g in an 8cm gusset. The pillow firmness guide explains the reasoning.

Worth clearing up, because the names are similar. This is a pillow — you sleep on it. A quilted pillow protector is a washable zipped cover that goes over a pillow to keep it clean. Most people want both.
The quilting stitches the cover fabric to a thin layer of wadding, so there is a soft cushioned surface sitting between your head and the main fill. It changes the feel rather than the support: the first centimetre gives immediately, which is what produces the sink-in sensation, and it keeps that surface layer from shifting around inside the cover.
A soft, low one — and most people sleeping on their front are using something far too thick. Lying face down, your head is already near the mattress, so a tall pillow tilts your neck backwards and holds it there for hours. If you wake with a stiff neck and sleep on your stomach, pillow height is the first thing to change.
Only if it is soft for the wrong sleeper. Soft is correct for front sleepers and for lighter builds who compress a medium pillow too far. It is wrong for side sleepers, whose heads need holding up level with the spine — the same pillow that fixes one person's neck pain causes another's. Sleep position decides it, not comfort preference.
No, and they are frequently confused. Microfibre is a finely woven fabric used here for the cover; the pillow inside is hollow fibre, which is springy and washable. Memory foam is a solid moulded block that responds to body heat, holds an impression, and cannot go in a washing machine.
Soft is not the same as under-filled. It carries the same 700g of virgin hollow fibre as our other standard-size pillows — it is the quilted surface layer that makes it feel softer, not less filling. Plump it as you would any pillow and it recovers.
